Deadline - Apr 2, 2012 - Annual Art Competition sponsored by The Artist's Magazine. Five subject categories. Winning work will be reproduced and finalists' names will be published in the December 2012 issue of The Artist's Magazine. 9 finalists will be featured in the "Competition Spotlight" in The Artist's Magazine/ 12 finalists will be featured as "Artist of the Month" on our website. $25,000 in cash and prizes

Deadline - Apr 16, 2012 - Strokes of Genius 5: The Best of Drawing sponsored by North Light Books. Quick contour sketches to carefully rendered drawings with a full range of values. Winning art will be reproduced in the fifth of the highly-acclaimed Best of Drawing collection
Deadline - Aug 15, 2012 - Pastel 100 Competition sponsored by Pastel Journal. Win publicity-winning work reproduced in April 2012 issue of Pastel Journal. Cash awards, including a $5,000 Grand Prize
Deadline - Sep 14, 2012 - Over 60 Competition sponsored by The Artist's Magazine. Open to all artists over 60, working in all media. Winners will be published in the March 2013 issue of The Artist's Magazine and featured on our website.
Deadline - Oct 15, 2012 - All-Media Competition sponsored by The Artist's Magazine. 8 categories, all mediums including digital art. Grand Prize winner's work will be reproduced in the July-August 2013 issue of The Artist's Magazine, all other winning entries will be posted on our website. Cash prizes, including $500 for the Grand Prize
